Project overview

Seychelles Circular
Island Showcase.

A concise introduction for strategic conversations. Programme summary · October 2026.

Sey Circular Biosphere proposes a connected programme that turns suitable residual resources into useful products, builds local food systems and creates a pathway for circular-economy enterprises in Seychelles.

The first flagship

A proposed fish-waste processing facility producing fishmeal and fish oil. Initial design target: 15 tonnes/day of suitable fish residues, subject to validated supply and project feasibility.

The wider roadmap

Seven connected phases: marine recovery; organics and soils; regenerative farms and packhouse; controlled growing; local protein and eggs; energy; further materials recovery.

Food and farmer participation

A proposed first cohort of 20 farms, with local crops, potential shared services and a retained egg and calcium product portfolio. Participation and operating models require individual assessment.

Development milestones

Confirm suitable sites, feedstock and buyer arrangements; validate technology, costs and safeguards; obtain required permissions; and establish independently reviewed project economics.

Partnership conversations

Relevant participants include processors, farmers, landowners, technical partners, strategic investors, development-finance organisations and potential commercial buyers.
