Our programme

Seven phases.
One connected ambition.

A roadmap for development, not a promise of simultaneous delivery. Each phase advances when its evidence, partnerships and commercial case are ready.

First flagship · in development

Fish waste. New value.

The proposed starting point is a fish-waste processing facility, converting suitable residues into fishmeal and fish oil for qualified buyers. Fishmeal from the facility could also supply feed for a future local aquaculture sector.

What must be proven
Validate feedstock volumes, secure a suitable site, complete permitting, confirm processing performance and agree buyer terms.
The next step
Establish collection, quality control and a viable route to market before considering expansion.

  1. Marine by-products

The proposed starting point is a fish-waste processing facility, converting suitable residues into fishmeal and fish oil for qualified buyers. Fishmeal from the facility could also supply feed for a future local aquaculture sector.

Development requirement: Validate feedstock volumes, secure a suitable site, complete permitting, confirm processing performance and agree buyer terms.

  2. Soil & organics

Source-separated food, market and garden residues could become fertiliser and biochar, supporting healthier soils and productive agriculture.

Development requirement: Test nutrient content, pathogens, contaminants and salinity; establish safe processing and approved end uses.

  3. Farms & fresh food

A first cohort of 20 regenerative farms is proposed, supported by shared aggregation, grading, packing and cold-chain services. Expansion would follow field results and customer demand.

Development requirement: Assess land, water and growing conditions; validate yields, farmer economics and buyer requirements.

  4. Controlled growing

Controlled-environment systems could support crops and fresh fodder through the year. Each application must prove its resource needs and commercial case in Seychelles.

Development requirement: Evaluate utilities, seed and labour costs, dry-matter feed value, suitable crops and reliable demand.

  5. Eggs & local protein

The original partner-farmer and egg-product vision remains part of the programme: laying hens, local feed options, value-added egg products and appropriate recovery of residual materials.

Development requirement: Confirm animal welfare, veterinary and food-safety requirements, feed quality, economics and supply agreements.

  6. Energy systems

Assess solar and storage around the needs of individual facilities. Other energy-from-residue opportunities would require separate technical, environmental and commercial assessment.

Development requirement: Confirm loads, tariffs, environmental permissions, grid or self-supply arrangements, and maintenance requirements.

  7. Materials recovery

Further opportunities include glass, metals, PET and construction materials. Selection should follow measured local waste streams, safe recovery options and real demand.

Development requirement: Confirm volumes, collection systems, product standards, permitted uses and commercial buyers.

Programme sequence follows the September 2026 showcase presentation. Dependencies, sequencing and final project selection may change following feasibility work.

From roadmap to implementation

Seven themes.
Evidence at every step.

The roadmap describes opportunities, not a fixed construction schedule. These decision points apply to each project as it develops.

  1. Gate 01 / Define

    Confirm the opportunity.

Reconcile the local data. Establish the resource, the problem to solve, potential customers and the people responsible for developing the case.

Is there a credible reason to proceed?

  2. Gate 02 / Validate

    Test the proposed solution.

Evaluate the process, site, utilities, safeguards and costs. Confirm product requirements and the basis for supply, buyer and financing arrangements.

Can the project work on its own merits?

  3. Gate 03 / Demonstrate

    Prove delivery before scale.

Proceed only with the necessary agreements and permissions. Commission carefully, monitor operating results and use measured performance to inform any expansion.

What does the operating evidence justify?

A promising link on a diagram is not yet a reliable supply chain. Dependencies between projects need their own technical and commercial validation.

How the pieces connect

Build a system.
Validate each link.

Recovered nutrients could support farms. Growing systems could support local feed. Farms could supply processing and buyers.

These links are part of the design ambition. Each needs technical and commercial validation, with clear responsibility for quality, safety, delivery and environmental performance.
